he Kenyan Government has shown its commitment to embracing the culture of Open Data and availing public information to the public through initiatives such as the Kenya Open Data Initiative and the Academia and Private sector have also responded positively to this.
The Open Data for Development Camp will be held at  Strathmore University in a two day event from 27 – 28th June and there will be a great line-up of speakers and a lot of learning on various issues such as Open Data Visualization and this will be a great opportunity to network too. The event will hosted by @iLabAfrica . Development Camp is actually an initiative to provide an opportunity to the public to make sense of data and through a 6 month programme.
